2. George WILLIAMSON4,5,12 was born about 1747 in unknown.4,5,12 It is not yet known for sure if George was the son or brother of John Williamson Sr.
He was possibly born in Ireland or Wales. He immigrated in 1780 to KY, Jefferson Co., Louisville, Linn's station.12 Possibly immigrated from Virginia to Kentucky via Pennsylvania. In 1780 he was a farmer in KY, Jefferson Co., Louisville, near Linn's station.12 George died in a massacre and was scalped in 1781 or 1782 in KY, Jefferson Co., Louisville, near Linn's station.4,12 He was buried in 1781 or 1782 in KY, Jefferson Co., Louisville, near Linn's station. His daughter’s obituary states in part, "Mrs. Hall was born in Ireland or Wales. It is not definitely known which. Her father came to America when she was but four years of age, and settled in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Being among the first settlers of that country, they underwent many hardships and privations caused by the depredations of the Indians, who were very troublesome at that time, so much so that the settlers were compelled to live in forts in order to protect themselves from the horrible outrages of the savages.
Her father, George Williams, with three of her brothers, left the fort one day to go to their field to work when they were attacked by Indians and her father and one brother were killed; the other two brothers were taken prisoners. One of them was killed soon after being captured; the other was carried off and remained with the Indians fourteen years, when he finally made his escape. He was one day permitted to go hunting, accompanied by a single Indian. Having gone as far as possible from the camp, he watched his opportunity and shot his companion, and made his escape."

George WILLIAMSON and (unknown female) (UNKNOWN) were married about 1767 in unknown.12 Possibly Ireland or Wales. (unknown female) (UNKNOWN)12 was born about 1747 in unknown. She was possibly born in Ireland or Wales. It is not known if her husband was a son or brother of John Williamson Sr.
